I had them come to my place as well.
They did the chlorine test, first using water filtered in my fridge - it did not turn color. He added some tap water to it, and it immediately changed.
I find that my fridge water is much better than tap water, even though tap water is safe to drink - so I might as well have my tap water be as good as the filtered water from my fridge.
Its a luxury issue - its not like its required, but I have been having skin problems and other issues that might be helped by removing extra chemicals and minerals from my water, so I got it.
So its not a scam, but neither is it because Peel water is unsafe. Its a luxury purchase to have your tap water be more pure than before.
