It is just annoying to see rediff go gaga over this visit, with numerous worthless articles
Wonder who is footing the bill for this visit - Is it Indian taxpayers? Not to mention the manhours lost due to closed traffic.
Obama is there for US's interests. Wonder what India will gain out of this visit.

MMS gained nuclear deal during last visit by US president.
The Indian government needs to deal with the US on an equal plain. US is the latest third world country in the world. They cannot afford to gift arms to Pakistan and expect India to open its markets to US products so we can help them revive their job market. Moreover, those involved in 26/11 still need to be bought to book.
Moreover some body in the govt should have stood up and told Obama to postpose his trip after Diwali. I don't ever see the PM of india being invited to the White House on Christmas eve or day so way is the Indian govt blowing smoke up Obama's ass?

We in India, every one including our president and PM will invite other people /leaders on an occasion.
The PM and President will even invite pakstani president or bangladeshi PM to India on diwali day. This is our culture, you know that.
