Hi Guys,
I got an offer from a Canadian firm from Mississauga, ON and thinking over it. I am currently in NJ, USA. They are doing my work permit and Open work permit for my wife. My wife is also working in US as a Business Analyst in a Finance firm.
My questions:
1. How is the job market in Canada, as my wife needs to find a job after coming there.
2. My offering company says I need to apply for PR myself? How much time it takes to get the PR and cost of doing so? Experiences please...
3. As per my research I found everything costly in ON from income tax, sales tax, prices of commodities etc etc as compared to US. Rent seems to be fine. Is my thinking correct... what is cheaper in Canada???
4. What is a good salary for a 8 Years experience guy in Software/Business Analyst?
5. How is the consulting option in GTA? What is the average consulting rate?
6. What is average household expense for a family of 2? 1 BHK decent apt, car ins, utilities, groceries etc....
7. Good websites to find job other than Monster?
Guys any help is greatly appreciated...

1. Thats not a comfortable feeling as job market in US is picking a bit.
4. No canadian exp. 1 year US exp + 7 Years India exp.
