Hi Desi's,

I landed last year in September with a work permit for 3 years. My family has also joined me. My wife has an open work permit and my 7 year old dughter has TRV.

I was wondering when is the right time to apply for immigration, right now or at the time of expiry of work permit.

Guidance from you guys will be highly appreciated.

Given the current timeframe for applications being processed within Canada, I would suggest You apply ASAP. Otherwise, if Your work permit expires and You are unable to get an extension, You'll have to apply from Your country of citizenship which may take considerabely longer.
