This means the property cannot grow to double even after 10 yrs. Don't you think that value of property will remain the same if you take into account the cost of mortgage (Bank interest) and maintenance cost?
I recently moved to Milton and happy with it, almost any place like grocery,bank etc can be reached in 5mins

Do know anything about the comments Vandematram posted above? About the white, tamil and black gangs and police waiting it out...

I have been living in Milton for 7 years now and can definitely say I have not heard about any gang activity such as the one being described above.
I can tell you that Milton is expanding and there are definite growth opportunities. In terms of going to Mississauga, Milton now has a desi grocery store, Loblaws carries other Indian items and all other major stores (Walmart Supercentre, schools etc) are all within 10 minutes away.
I think its a great investment but it depends on your needs and what you are looking for

Can someone living in Milton tell about the rate of property taxes and car insurance ?
Are they same as Miss./Brampton or lower and what is apxt. difference?

I'm not sure what the rates for Brampton/Mississauga but I would say that they are lower as I know Acton is a lot lower and we are close to them.
