Now my travel date is nearing and i have taken Travellers Cheque for the following
amount.
Family Members Total 4 (2 children below 10 year)
TC : 16000.00 C$
Cash : 3000.00 US$
but according to the cic website they have updated to 20599.00.
can any one clarify me the above amount is enough for me to
show at the airport ?

Here is what they say that the requirements are: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp
You are carrying quite a bit of liquid cash. There are other means of showing the required amounts, in negotiable instruments, such as your holdings in Stocks and Bonds and other securities, and if you have any of the above in your portfolio there in India, you can bring in the statement as close to the date of departure as you can possibly obtain from the brokerage house and produce it here at the P.O.E. as Proof of Funds.
