Hi,

CHC has asked me to show proof of funds.

Can someone please guide me about the format of sending the Proof of Funds.

I mean can i send the copies of Bank Statement or it has to be signed by a CA.

You have to just submit a bank statement for the account from any of the major banks , covering a last few transactions.

If you want it to be water tight, you can send the following:

1. Bank statements of all your bank accounts for last two years; the statements should be on official stationery and bear the rubber stamp of the bank. (You can maybe leave out bank accounts with not transactions/low balances.)

AND

2. CA's certificate detailing all your savings/investments/FDs/bank accounts/income and assets. He/she should sign and put a stamp and write his/her membership number and phone number on the certificate.
