I would be landing at Toronto for my first landing (Immigrant) with my family of 3. As per CIC website, I must show AED 17000 CAD approx at airport to proof that I can survive for few months in canada without job.

My question is, since I would be coming to make my PR only for one month and then reuturn to Dubai to continue my job, is there any possibility that I just bring casg of CAD 5000 only which would be sufficent for my 1 month stay inseatd of bringing CAD $ 17000???
I am HSBC Premium account holder and I have sifficent amount in my account in local currency (UAE Dirhams). Can I bring original HSBC bank statment showing the amount much higher than CAD 17000? Will they accept ?

What is worst thing I may face if immigration office does not satisfy with my proof of funds?
