You dont need to provide your personal information on your invitation . There is an alternative . Pls go thru this :

Good luck

Thanks AshwaniG for the LINK but it also says that the info is required.

If you are visiting a relative/friend - recommended documents:
Letter of invitation and/or statutory declaration (affidavit) of support
Proof of immigration status of inviter (if inviter is private individual) - this may include a
photocopy of a Canadian permanent resident card, passport, or Citizenship card.
Financial documentation of inviter: * such as:
Notice of Assessment (Income tax documents - T4)
Proof of employment
Proof of inviter’s existing funds (bank statements, bank books)

You can send this info directly to CHC

No sending T4 to CHC is of no use. They can not keep track of all these papaerwork. You are suppossed to send this all supporting document to the person applying for visa. If you do not want to send , do not send T4 etc, just send other documents. CHC can always search thier database for your income record ( if they will need it). for me, not submiting T4 info is not going to effect chance for visa of your uncle.

Correct, there's no point in sending this documentation to CHC directly - it'll just get lost in the noise.

CHC has no such database maintained locally, and they will not request CRA for your income records for processing a simple tourist visa application.

It depends on whether the uncle can qualify for the visa on his own financial merits or not.
If he can prove that he has enough liquid funds to completely sponsor his visit on his own, he doesn't need your financial support.
In that case, just an invitation letter from you will be enough.
However, if he requires some support from you for tickets, stay, etc. then your T4 and salary stubs come into play.
Without that, they may not consider the application has merit.
If you do not wish to reveal your financial information to your uncle, simply send the invitation letter.
Let him qualify on his own financial status.

He will not qualify on his own financial situation....so does that mean that I have no choice than to send my tax papers?
