Dear Freddi
are you sure that the immigration officer will not ask me for this reference?
as it will consider a change in my info that i provide in the PR application card?
they will not require me to give them this reference ? cz they need to know your work since u become a PR.
if they need what could i do in case i would not be able to get this reference?
thanks

You are still working with them, So, wait till you are about to leave them. At that time you will have a copy for your reference.
Some employers who need your services there might not want to know that you are quitting from their employment. So, put off the request till about the time you are ready to leave. You said THREE months and hence my response.
Freddie.
Dear Freddie
Good day
I have one think that may relief my worry
you told me that they don't care whether I still have work outside Canada when I become a PR
all what they care about is not to exceed outside Canada 1095. AM I correct in what i mentioned?
second they will never ask me to show any employment proof in case i have work outside Canada as this is not of there concern ( their concern is not to stay out Canada more than 1095 days)?
third and Finally I can proof them the period that I spend outside Canada from the entry stamp and exit stamp of the country that I reside in on my passport ?
thanks in advance for your Information
Regards,

You are correct.
You are correct. But they will get it out of you some how, and you don't know how till Freddie points it out to you.
Yes you are correct.
After you land here, don't open a Bank account or get your Health Card.
Freddie.
You have to see a legal adviser to get proper opinions for the questions you have. That way you can get proper advice and also pay for it. That protects you in case of things going haywire.
The information provided thus far in my postings to you are purely chat format and you are free to take it or leave it. You will always have to bear the consequences of your own actions, because you want to do some things on your own and for your own benefit. Some of your actions might get you into a lot of difficulties later on in your life. Then you might turn around and say "Only if i had known this before....??!!".
Most of the GOOD employers will always issue to you a letter of reference, which will suffice for anyone's needs. So you get one from them when you are leaving them.
For you to understand what I am saying in this chat, you will have to take the pages to some one who can read and tell you what it means and explain to you properly till it all soaks up.
For your taxes etc., you should see a TAX Consultant who knows about taxes there and also here in Canada. Or post it under a different thread for some one to answer to you and tell you who they contacted for that.
Freddie.
Dear Newcomer10,
Feel very sad that you were not getting simple answer from anybody. All the answers made you worry more for no reasons. I try to give you some simple solution for your problems.Hope it helps you.
1. You can land keeping your old job.
2. Take PR card
3. Go back and resume job back home and submit your passport to your employer
4. In between any time you can enter Canada with only PR+New pp (answers your main worry)
5. If you resign then get your old pp and your bank statements or pay stubs and enter Canada
6. You don't need to say anything to CIC about reference or your old job. With CIC the chapter is closed once you got your COPR. For new employer at Canada, you might require your reference.

Hello All
I have some question
I will do my first landing in first week of July 2010
i will stay up to 35 days until I get my PR card then i will go back to the country I work in, this gonna last for up to 4 months until I resign and then I will return to Canada. so I will work approximately 4 months outside while I am a PR.
I know that I have to pay tax for income even Outside Canada for the period I am a Permanent Resident.
my question how Tax authority will be sure from the amount of income that I declare. Do they contact overseas employers?
because I receive part of my monthly salary in bank transfer (which I can proof it to the Tax authority) and another part by cash (which I have no document to proof it)
Do they contact the foreign employers in foreign countries? in what means of contact they communication they do so. Do the employers have to fill any report????
you don't have to worry about income tax as you have worked outside Canada as 1000s of PR do so. Only the work you will be doing in Canada, you gotta pay as per.
Regards,
Donmike
