Good day,
I first landed in Toronto with my family in Oct 2007. Second visit was in Jun 2009 when my family stayed back and I returned. I expect that I will lose PR status soon i.e. in Nov 2010, as after that I will not be able to complete 730 days stay in the 5 years period expiring in Oct 2012.
Will this be any problem for my family in getting citizenship?
I also have not yet received my first PR card (due to some reflection on photos). Will getting PR card help in any way?

I see that you were visiting Canada Regularly as the family is residing here. When ever you are ready to travel the next time, apply for a re-entry permit well in advance and travel to Canada and apply once again for the PR CARD.

Once you get the card, you are all set till it comes for renewal.
Even if you are unable to complete the number of days, you can still keep returning to Canada.
Since your Family is here and has a chance to get their OWN Citizenship, let them carry on as if you are still there for them, here in Canada. Your Family can then get you in as a spouse and you can re-enter anytime after they get their Citizenship. (I am given to understand that your wife is still here. Am I correct?)

Your not completing the physical presence test will do no harm to your family. Your family will get citizenship if it completes the number of days required for the citizenship,
