If you have the receipts there with you compile them and start the paper work soon. If you do not have the Rental Receipts, The Phone Bills, etc., then, when you return back, go to the place where you lived and ask the owner or the SUPER of the apartment to issue to you the duplicate receipts. Please tell him it is for the immigration process, they want them as proof of residing there. As soon as you get them, make THREE copies of all of the documents. Collect as many receipts, and the bank account statement, Newspaper subscription, any other bills such as taxi, eating out etc., and have them handy.

You also have a letter from the place where you worked when you left them. Tell the Immigration people you could not reside in Canada without a job and wanted to go back and return with additional funds to keep you going and meet the family and spend some time with them. That is O.K. Those papers are also important to you. If you have a copy of the e- ticket save it too. You will need it now and also when you go for your citizenship also.

Your Child is a Canadian citizen by birth. The Mother has a right to be with the baby in Canada. So, after you return, go to the Immigrant Help Center in Mississauga or one that is close by and ask for help. They will get all of the papers in order and will help you get your wife immigrated into Canada as quickly as possible. They are good at it,
