Hello Mr Massood,

I came on a student Visa and now on the first year of my work permit.In Jan 2005 my mother applied for our Family's Immigration(mainly for me) and I was in the application as a dependent from New Delhi.
Now after reading the post and checking the Immigration website,i realized that it might take atleast 4 years..so I was planning to apply for my own Independent Immigration from Buffalo..as it's supposed to be faster(1 year)

My question for you is that Can I apply for my Independent Immigration when my family's application is in progress.
If it is will I have to cancel my name from that application..Also one last thing will my immigration case get into the risk with this activity..as CIC will have do extra work for me..so do you think it is worth it to cancel and apply on my own??
I will really appreciate your help
