cell phone ban causes mobile not work ...pls help!!

Hi,

I have just traveled to Mumbai. I have a Nokia 3310 on which the SIM doesn’t work - that SIM (from various mobile companies in fact) works on another cell.

I think it could be because of the recent phone ban.

how do I go about getting the cell phone to work ...?

Does anybody know any specialist mobile dealers who can help!!

Nokia 3310 is a dual band 900/1800 phone. It will work in India, but not in Canada as the network frequency is different.
