Dear Massood Ji
I checked my e-client status today and now it has changed to Decision Made, but when I click on it, it says we started processing your application on Feb 20th 2003.
Please Advice.
Thanks
Andy
======================================
I applied for the Canadian immigration in Oct 2002. That time I was on tourist visa in USA. After that I applied for H1 in US. Around December time I got a letter from consulate that I need to provide the proof for English as my known language. Which I did. In February I got the file number from the consulate stating that they have received my application. When I check the estatus of my application, it says IN PROCESS and we started processing your application on Feb 20th 2003.
Can someone please tell me how long will it take for the medical or how long is the processing time these days? Thanks in advance.

Pl. go through the following link
http://www.dfait-maeci.gc.ca/can-am/menu-en.asp?act=v&did=1967&mid=5&cat=1185&typ=1
which states that We are currently assessing applications received in November 2002.
So you should get your assessment results soon. That letter will carry the details about the medical examination.

Timon,
You missed the first part of Andy's post. His case was "Denied". Why would he want to celebrate?
Andy, I'm sorry to hear Your application was denied. I don't think You can appeal their decision since Your work experience required to claim more points; will be acquired after the decision was made. However, You can resubmit Your application once You have the required points. You may also want to consult a different lawyer regarding the same.

DT

Thanks for the Reply Dost
Till last year i had 65 points, but right now I do have 67 points, so do u think appeal is going to work.
Andy,
If You acquired experience worth 67 points "before" the denial letter was "issued", You may be able to appeal the desicion. How this will affect any future applications for Immig. to Canada, I cannot say. I strongly suggest that You consult a lawyer before taking any further steps.
Thanks
