Hi All,
I have an important question - as it would determine - should I go to India to give the passport or try to use alternative routes - like sending through someone else.
To all those who have already got their VISA (or those whose friends have got it) : Can you tell me from your experience - how long did it take to get the Passport back after stamping from Delhi CHC.
Would really appreciate the response.

I got my passport back in a month's time. However, I posted a request to CHC using online case specific enquiry to return my passport back at the earliest as I had to fly back to UK for my job. I posted this as soon as my passport was delivered to CHC by courier.
I understand that the time of return of passport depends upon individual case.

Actually my case is handles by an immigration agent. And they have also said that they will write to CHC to speed up the stamping process for my case.
Assuming your medical is done, they'll invariably have the passport stamped and sent it back to you in about a month. Mine took around 40 days.
