I had finally moved Canada last month,and trying to settle down,while my two year old baby is still in India,with her father who is already a PR.I had applied Sponsorship process for my baby and finally got an approval letter from CPC-Mississauga,today dated 30-07-2009.Now they have forwarded for further processing for PR in New Delhi Visa office. On CIC website there is Decision Made.
Received application of Sponsorship on June 26,2009
Received application of Sponsorhip at CPC-M on June 29,2009
Started processing application on July 28,2009.
Sent letter on July 28,2009 about Decision made.
My husband has already planned to land Canada by mid August ,in order to settle here.Can my husband before coming to Canada proceed for Medical of my daughter with this approval letter or he still requires Canadian High Commission Issuance letters for Medical.How long it takes for the medical and stamping of the passport ?
Can anyone advise on this!

Before you take any action, please wait for their instructions. But be on top of all of the kids medicals and immunizations etc., from your end. Here is a link to another website and please go through the same. It is not that heart warming to see their write up in that website. but you will know what you can expect after going through a few of the situations reported there in.

If everything goes well after the Medicals, it will take a time span of three months for the medical clearance and a few months for the stamping etc., So, give or take a period of six months...

It is heart breaking to see the family broken up like this. But bureaucracy and filing department has their own schedules. There is no way you can speed up the process.
Some Officers are sympathetic and you might see Santa Claus bringing in some good news. Hope for the best.

I will pray for your reunion asap. First of all pl. call 1-888-242-2100 and follow the instrucions. Give them you PR 8 digit card no.and tell them about your daughter. They will tell you when the medical letter will reach for your child in India. After that, immdly take the child for medical and then again you call up this cic no and ask them when you daughter's visa stamping will be done. You will get your daughters passport stamped 40days from the submission date. You pressurise your consultant if any to expedite the process. if you need more help please email and I shall be very happy to help you.
