Renting a car but insurance covered by my credit card.

I have select gold td visa card which covers collision and damage. If I am renting a car and not taking their insurance using my credit card insurance. If somthing happen to car then what will happen.

Will my credit card cover it or what. If anyone had any experience who rented a car and had accident cover by his credit card. Kindly share with me.

yes the credit card will cover(but not more than 30 days of continuous renting), there will be lot of paper work involved police collision report, faxing documents to visa etc.. better to call up the bank to understand what exactly they cover

It will cover only collision/damage. I believe that you have to buy third party insurance.
