Has anyone checked out the India domestic air fares of late? I am getting fare quotes for Rs50 and Rs100 for routes, but with tax and charges, it comes to Rs.3000!! A final fare which is 3000-6000% of advertised fare.. makes one think if it is for real!!

Yes, it is for real, airlines like spice jet, Go air, Indigo offer 0 airfare and then taxes. They don't offer any foods inside the flight, one needs to buy it. People can get a good deal less than Rs. 3000 if booked 1-2 mths in advance (but the fare is non refundable).
