Tireless efforts of REALTORS and pressure from citizens has forced the Government to make the Audits Voluntary. In a news reported in Toronto Star today, an ammendment to the Bill has been made by Mr. George Smitherman.

If public pressure can force the politicians (and one of the most stubborn one) to back down, then we shuold continue to pressure our MPPs against HST as well. I don't know how many people know that the deal to move to merge GST/PST was signed without the knowledge of your MPPs (in secrecy) by Finance Minister Duncan Dwight & Premier McGuinty with Fed Fin Minister Flaherty.
