How is ACCNAC INTERNET? Any comments by the user? It has been long since last this thread has been revived. Thought of getting latest experience.

I know of a few people who have been using Acanac and are satisfied. A few things to keep in mind about Acanac:
1. There is extra monthly charge for a dry loop
2. The promo rate of $19 is only for a year, after that it goes up to $33 or so. So best would be to cancel after a year and switch to another provider, 'cause $33 / month is rip-off

I have been using Acanac for several months now and I am happy with the service. I have not experienced any major problems. My internet usage is somewhat basic though.
Since I have not used other services, I am not in a position to provide any comparison.

Dryloop will be charged only if someone does not have a phone line...correct? I agree with you to cancel it after one year...as $33 would be ripoff.
How about the teksavvy or any other providers who have similar offers.

Thanks guys for the above information. I am also considering a move to Acanac for home phone (9.95) and internet(19.95), as I am paying a fortune for phone and internet($20 and $45 respectively). Couldn't believe I spent so much in the last few months when the options are readily available. Of-course I will too (as others) cancel this after an year. This is an inconvenience, but heck, I am saving a hell lot of money in the meantime.
How's Acanac's home phone? Any disturbances at all, call quality etc.? Also, how's the download speed for internet? Do you need to wait for the youtube videos to stream or are they downloaded in no time? What about movies off torrents? Please let me know if you're already using these services.
Thanks!
