Best way to send Passports to Indian Embassy

Friends

I am living in Halifax and I have to send my Passport to Indian embassy in Toronto for Police Clearance Certificate. Can anyone advise which is the safest way to send and receive back. I am worried about loosing passport.

Courier such as Purolator, UPS or Fedex. Enclose a paid courier envelope for the return trip of the passport.

Canada Post -Express post is also good option. Whatever way you send it, ask for signatures. In canada post it would cost you $1.50 extra but worth it.

Also keep the photocopies of everything you sent
