Hello fellow Desis,

I want to renew my PR card since its due in Mid November. I will complete 2 years in Canada at September end.

I would like to hire someone to carry out this renewal process for me?

Can anyone recommend good lawyer who can carry it out for me?

You have to be residing here within Canada. You have to apply for it your self. It is a simple application. Also you receive it, in person, from their offices. At that time they will take the old card away and give you the new one.

Initial card, replacement or renewal : http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/prcard.asp

Use of a representative : http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5476E.PDF in case you use a lawyer.

Document check list : http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5574E.pdf

All of these been answered many many times before on this web site. Read the old postings and that will release some time for us to answer others who need some researched materials.

Please drop in and meet with them. They will help you fill in the required forms and help you with all of the papers. It is a free service.

Cant understand the need for a lawyer to renew PR Card...
Filling the paper work is a 30 min task...

Yes that's true infact from the CIC link you can order the forms and they will arrive at your address free of charge . Fill them , complete the documentation and mail them after paying the fee - current time line approx 87 days .

Let me know if you need a representative instead of a lawer.
I could be your representative and you pay me half of the amount you will pay to lawyer. How does that sound to you? Haahah..!!
