I am working as IT Project Coordinator and my wife is a Physiotherapist
My whole family would like to migrate to Canada or AUS. I will be accompanied with my wife and a son, My Father and Mother and lastly My Younger brother his wife and one child. So that means 6 adults and 2 minor
Can we all migrate at one time with a single application. Which is the best place for migration. How much we have to carry. Can I travel alone or do i have to travel with everyone
Please do respond. Its very urgent

I dont think you can all migrate as one family. everyone above 18 has to apply individually i.e. Brother etc. Your wife is the only person who can migrate on the same application as you and of course children if any. If you have dependents above 18 years of age that you need to put on your application then you can add them indicating dependents. however the more dependents/size of family the more funds you will have to bring with you. I am not an expert on this however this is what I have read.
If you will be traveling to india alot. austrailia is obviously closer. austrailia may have better weather.
Canada though further away from India is becoming more open to immigrants and there is alot of support for newcomers/

Check the official website for Canada immigration at the website cic.gc.ca. In your application only your immediate family can come with you (wife and kids, etc.) with the rest of your dependents to follow (this is another application and takes anywhere from 5 to 6 years for parents based on current wait times).
I would recommend making a visit (anywhere from 2 to 3 months at least) to assess the situation on the ground first-hand before deciding to migrate (or not).
Also the immigration laws have changed with effect from Feb 28, 2008 and now there is no guarantee of first come first served. You may want to research that aspect too.

Aus has a contributory parent category where you can pay approx 8 lacs in INR & get a super quick entry for your parent which otherwise should take 4-5 years .
Aus weather is better and that should be a major deciding factor - otoh Canada is next to the US . Take your pick after researching more - Indo Aussies have a forum like this named - Indian Down Under dot com . Please google.
