Hi:

I am trying to locate any electrical shop in Toronto/Mississauga/Brampton/Markham area where I can get a contactor (for my A/C). Any ideas?

If I am to get a electric contactor to do the replacement, it is costing me close to $250 with $50 charge for showing up at my place + hiked up part charge + labour!! The actual unit, I believe, costs around $50 only!

Thanks man. I did google... also went thru yellowpages. Problem is that many of these firms deals with only industry strength parts and not residential use ones. What I need is a 24V contactor. The residential ones I find are all wholesalers! Yet to locate a retailer

Can u identify what contactor you need ? If yes you can go to my home and pick one ( from more than 15 diff kinds ) ..I live in scarborough and currently not in Canada ..Or else if you can wait ..I might be avlbl in 1st week of July ..

I need a Single Pole 24V one.... The original one is a GE B13603-21. That has known issues (and failed for me too) and the replacement is CONT1P025024V.

Will you have that or something similar? Where do you get to buy these from? I found a few shops online, but all are in US.

Its difficult to tell if I have that particular model but for sure I have single pole contactor ...I get these from Frontier -Wolseley ... They sell only to licensed person ..
