Here is the inside story. Amit had asked for divorce number of times, wife would not agree. Understandable. She was playing safe. If her coworker Arvind, backs off, she had Amit to fall back. She was playing both ways and ended lives of both.

I dont get it - how is this an example of changing attitude/social fabric..can you elaborate? Also: do u know these people (ie/ the inside story)?

We don't know other side (rinku's) story. News papers published letter from Amit which gives his point of view.
Apparently the girl being from Mumbai and guy from Delhi , the guy might have been slightly conservative and could not take a fancy to her fling. Might have taken the extreme step under depression as normally one should not take anyone's life including one's own. I lament the loss of parents , both sides .
Life is stranger than fiction. 02 lives lost.

It doesnt matter where someone comes from -unfaithfulness in a marriage is viewed negatively.
I guess he might have been depressed..but he could have just left her and moved on. Murder/suicide is not a noble way to deal with things. also: did they lose their parents? The article didnt say.

The tv channels were reporting the inside story. For them its a sensational news. So they will dig deep to know the story, true or not.

Who knows what they were going through. it was just suspect/true love or deceive, god can only answer this. sometimes wrong marriages are hard to break because of our culture and society. May be Rinku was thinking if she gives devorce to Amit it will prove that she is enagaged with other guy and may be she was just a friend of other guy. or as you said, she was fraud playing with two people than whatever happened to her was not very unfortunate.
