Hi Sunil,

How can you miss it by a few days? Are you here in Canada and are you trying to find out if we know how you did it?
Then, Please do tell us too. If not,

If it is sickness, get a Doctor's Certificate, stating the sickness that you are afflicted with and his advice, where in, you ask him to state, that you need the extra number of days to get cured and get recovered fully. Also make sure that he is advising you to refrain from any Air travels for a certain period of time. Then with a covering letter send it by courier, way ahead of time, as soon as you know that you cannot make the dead line, to the CHC offices in your area and ask them to extend the date and by a reasonable length of time, which will permit you and the family to proceed to the destination, Canada, and land as an Immigrant.
They will then provide you with further instructions to follow and abide by them. I don't think that these deadlines are cast in stone. They might be able to flex them.

The same will be the case, if it is a family urgency. A try will be worth it. See what happens.
