i see this with much interest.
this is a much more simpler case than a case of allowing a blade / knife / kirpan or allowing full face-masking in identification photos.
re: knife .. a matter of safety for OTHERS .. allowing weapons on planes, schools, courthouses endangers OTHERS ... someone else may take it from the rightful owner and use it for evil
... HENCE, not allowed to carry it into schools, courthouses, planes, etc.
re: full face-masking in identification photos ... a matter of safety for OTHERS ..
authorities need the tool of facial recognition to perform their job and keep the public safe.
... HENCE, need to fully reveal face for these id photos.
re: turban on motorcycle ... a matter of safety for the RIDER ONLY ....
i say if he wants to ride without helmet .. no problems... but his insurance should go up ... not discrimination ... ANYONE and ALL is allowed to ride wearing a turban or baseball cap or yarmelke (yarmulke) if they chose .... their insurance premiums will just be need to higher to factor in the additional risk ... additional risk calculations are not discrimninatory ... they just look at the facts and match to actuarial tables to determine the likelihood of a helmet-wearing or not-helmet-wearing rider to get injured and the extent of those injuries ... it does not factor in skin-color or reason for choice between helmet-wearing and not-helmet-wearing.

happily holi day!
There s a fallacy in your logic going by which - why have regulations regarding seat belts or issue tickets ~ just increase the insurance .
Do you know how much does it cost for fatal and not fatal accidents to healthcare ??
Driving / riding is a privilege and not a right .
