Last week two of my friends bought car in Buffalo.

One bought Santa FE and saved $12K and other one bought MDX and saved $18K. Both cars are covered under warranty in Canada.

When they were coming back, the Border Guard asked them whether they were in US for buying the car. Then said Yes and she started to smile and said that very second person who goes to US during weekdays is going for purchase of car.

No warranty from Toyota Canada if bought from US, same goes for Honda.

You will get warranty from Lexus/Acura/BMW/Subaru

Acura and Honda have same parent company and so is the case for Toyota and Lexus - Strange???? allowing warranty for one and not for other

I know Toyota was honouring it in Aug ... but the same dealership is now refusing.

Is Toyota Canada not honouring the warranty on Toyotas bought in America? If so, buying a Toyota from America is no longer viable!

Yes, Toyota Canada is not Honouring the warranty. Call some of them & you can post their replies here.
