Dear Mr. Masood,
i have recently sent my passport to the CHC N ew Delhi.
The request for passport was sent in last week of december 2003.
my medicals were done in April 2003. landing Fees is paid in Aug 2003.

1. Could you tell me how long will they take to return my passport back.
2. Having got my passport back which could be anytime in April or May i guess
do i have a minimum time to enter canada for the first time ?
can i delay my entry for a few months. The reason being i have been living
in US for the last 1 year and want to delay my entry into canada as much
as possible. please reply to this.
also if the passport come back after April 2004 (1 year past medical date)
do i have to got for medicals again.

3. Whenever i enter canada for the first time i would like to come back
in 2 to 3 days back to US. Do you think i need some kind of reentry permit
. please clarify.

1. they should give you ample time to plan your departure & landing [however, this is becoming a bit of a problem at some embassies]

2. you have to enter before your medicals expire or else you'll have to do medicals again or even apply again.

3. no 're-entry permit required'
