Hi,

Does any body know about any Jewish restaurants in Mississauga area like MeeVaMee in Thornhill . I am particularly fond of "Baba Ghonush" ( Not sure if the spelling is right).

I think Baba Ghanoush is more of a middle eastern dish, and not Jewish alone.

I have seen it in Lebanese restaurants....

FYI: You can find baba ghanoush condiment at the real canadian superstore

Thanks for the input. This weekend I am planning to try that out in either lebanese restaurant or Superstore. Seems like Tarboosh in Confederation parkway has the lebanese cusine.

Baba Ghanoush (eggplant salad) is a great healthy speciality - very similar to "baigan bhartha of India".You might be able to find it at Isaac's in Toronto - they have two Kosher style locations.
