i am living in canada from last 6 months. I would like to call my mother(widow) on visitor visa in March 2008. I have some questions. I n my wife bothe r having permanent job.

1. What cud be the strong reason of visiting which i can write in the
invitation letter... my daughter (Age-4 yrs). My daughter is
having PR Card and residing with my mom in india from last 4
months...can i show the reason that "i want to call her back with my
mom and v can stay together for some time."?

2. Can i try for the multiple entry visa for her? I am affraid about the
refusal as she never travelled abroad?

3. In case of refusal , what is the time period of reapplication?

4. Age of my mom is 64 yrs... Is their any medical tests and police
clearence procedure require for visitor visa?

Hello Prishu,

You have to send few documenst as per the cic website like invitation letter, NOA (T4), employement letter, PR/Citizen proof, funds proof. Your mom in India has to fill out the Personal Information form along with the Application form. She has to submit these forms along with all your documents and some other from her side showing financial standing, ties with the home country, reason for travelling, job or retirement letter if any, relationship with you etc etc.

hi, what ever ur income over here,ur mother should show that she has a strong reason to go back to india and not stay back.

show all investments, property , etc. that she has in her name.

usually they dont give multiple entry first time.They may ask for a medical
for multiple entry and finally they may give u single entry.My personal suggestion wud be to apply for single entry visa for the first time and then apply for multiple entry before the next visit.I applied for multiple entry for my parents,and they did all medicals but finally got single entry visa.

I need to see them ,this is the first time that i am far from them,and them too.
I can't stand this distance.
please help me.what should i do?I need a format of letter to send them & they can take it to embassy in Iran.

pls. suggest me what cud be the better resoan which shud be written on invitation letter.
