Alls well at the western front. It is 'the Mush and Bush' that we have to worry about.

First and foremost: Will your 'Acquaintance' qualify to get into Canada on 'Merit'? and has he/she done the 'Point Count' and done a verification and have you both taken the first step?

If so, what field is he/she looking to get in and are there jobs for the 'A' here in Canada and are they currently screaming for people of his/her caliber?

Now do you know if there is a list here, either from the employers or head hunters, such as 'Zeeinfotech' or anyone else either on the website or on paper and what is the Labour Market Information from the different provincial Countrerparts saying about the Type of Jobs 'A' is looking for?

Can you pull up one and send that report to him/her or do an analysis for him/her?

Your letter seems to be a 'feeler' to this board and I am sure, that there are many more qualified and informed readers here who can get in on this and help him/her or many more Qualified Immigrants to jump the line and take advantage of it through this board and the other CD's help.

Can we expand the search either through the networks available here and the knowledge base and acumen of the Desis on this board and take this to the next level and help many more deserving immigrants get in and settle down and also utilise other available avenues in India and other parts of the world where they have offices to assist aspiring immigrants with a head start?

Thanks for getting the ball rolling. I cannot equate the dolllars spent to the services rendered, by these Immigrant Consultants. Few immigrants are affluent and the rest are desperate. Only a few can do utilise their services. Needless to say they prey on any and all of the immigrants and squeeze the hell out of them and provide nil or nothing for the sums extracted. They seem to have poor services and very bad record and I do not want to tar everyone with the same brush or give the dog a bad name and shoot it. Had it not been for them, some of us would not have known all of the avenues available to everyone. They are one step ahead of the game. So, take the best part of what they say and see if these services can be provided to others ex gratia, and beat them at their own game.

I did see the labour market review on the web just as I am posting this to the web.
