I am an Indian Chartered Accountant landing in Toronto in May 2008. I am planning to know GAAP Canada before landing there. I searched on the web without satisfying results. Even Amezon.com does not have proper book onthe subject.
I request you to suggest me a website where I can download the GAAP Canada verbatim or a very good book which I can buy on web... Please...

There used to published books on CICA handbook section but now it is online as Crenshaw said.
You will learn more with experience than memorizing or reading GAAP handbook. There are numerous handbook sections and then numerous EIC that governs GAAP accounting and both with numerous ifs and buts. It is like writing an exam again and even CAs here are unaware of all handbook sections.
