Hi friends,

I appeared for class 7 road test today but couldn't make it.

Not out of frustration I am saying this but I am actually not satisfied with the reason for which the examiner failed me.

His instructions were sudden and unclear as a result I violated a law (couldn't go to the proper lane to make left turn). There was no other mistake. The examiner appreciated driving skills otherwise. I wonder why he still made me drive for 30 more minutes and made me complete all other maneuvers, when he knew that I had failed the test!! Was he making his own bucks by spending time with me??

Is there any point in entering into an argument with ICBC? Do I have right to appeal?

I don't think you can argue with ICBC. If you violate law, then you can't pass.

Please ask examiner again, if you have any confusion regarding his/her instructions. Typically they allow you to drive (unless you are driving dangerously) for full test time and it is a good practice for you for next time. No, he was not making any extra bucks by spending time with you.

Good luck for your next test. Give me a call, I can give you some general advice.
