Little confused regarding PR

Hi immigrations expert and all

I am Yaju Singh from Delhi, India. Presently I am in Vancouver doing my MBA from sauder School of business, UBC. I got maried in last december i.e. 2006. But I came alone here for my MBA. Now I am planning to apply for PR as right now I am on student visa. I landed in Vancouver on 20th august 2007. How can I apply for my PR from US or any other place.

Please guys gude me regarding this as I am willing to apply for my PR as soon as possible.

Thanks for your reply. I really appreciate yuor effort. please tell me the specific information. How do I apply for PR. Can I do that now as I had just come to canada i.e. 1 months back but I have a visa till march 2009.
please tell me the specific form which I need to fill and document which I need to submit with my application. Yes I am covering all the points with my wife. She is back in India. She is a double post graduate.
