hello CD's
does anyone know how much time it takes to get refund from tax return. i post my tax papers on end of feb. doesn't it take about 2 weeks to get direct deposit or 4-5 weeks if they send you cheque.
i filled the direct depost info last year and got refund withing 2 weeks, this time i didnt fill the info as it said no need to fill if already done.
is there any number or website i can go n check the status.

I called the above number to get the status of my tax refund last week.

If you mailing your return in, you're looking at anything from 5-8 weeks. Keep in mind the entire system was down for a few weeks in March. They do have a backlog. You could call them to find out the exact status.
