Hey guys,
I m not sure if this is the right place for this post but this is the best I could think of. I have misplaced my PR card and need to apply for a new one. Anyone has any idea how long it takes to get a new one? I want to visit india in June end so I have about 2.5 months for the card to arrive...Does anyone have any comments? Worse case I will have to book a ticket from Detroit or something. Thanks a lot and hoping to get some help here..

I dont know how long you have been in Canada, but you will have to fillin a form for a new card, make notarised copies of the landing paper, new photographs etc... You will also need 2 gaurantors who have known you for over 2 years in Canada. If you havent been for over 2 years, you need to make an affidavit and have it notarised. It takes about 3-4 weeks if all the papers are complete.
