Could any body suggest what is the procedure to extend visitor visa for my parents?

any body of aware of pros and cons?

Call the call center or go on CIC website and order for visitor visa extension application. Fill the form which is very simple and send with requisite fees($75 per person). Should apply 30 days prior to expiry of current visa stay validity period. It takes 45-50 days for them to say yes/no- normally it is yes for the first two extensions. At the most they may ask for medicals to be done in Canada. You need to provide a reason for extension in the application. Once an application is made for extension, stay is valid even after the expiry of current visa stay validity period till you get yes/no from CIC.

My wife is preagenent and her due date is close to my parents Visa expirey date.

Is this strong enough reason to get extension?

Some people are suggesting they won't give extension on this reason.

Just wondering if anybody can suggest their expecrience or knowledge in this area.

I a m not sure of this reason, but in our case we simply put that my parents wanted to spend more time with us and visit more places in Canada and they got the extension. Other members who might have put expected delivery as a reason may share their experiences.
