Any Jagjit/Chitra Fan here?

I was just wondering ... when did he come here last? And have any of you heard any plans of him coming here?

Fan to an extent, and I love to hear Jagjit specially when I really want to relax. I had been to their live concert in Singapore once but was deeply disappointed, both with their behaviour and singing. To me it seemed that the richness of Jagjit's voice is more pronounced in studio recording than live concert.

However, that was also the time when they were on the verge of separation.

Have you heard their album 'Mirza Ghalib'? That's my favourite followed by Someone somewhere.

I don't know about Singapore, but his Concerts are really LIVE. And with Punjabi crowd around, it is blast with some good Punjabi old songs.

Hey...glad to know we have Jagjit fans here too!! I have attended two of his live concerts in Delhi. I agree with Chandresh, when it comes to listening to Jagjit's cassettes/CDs I prefer the studio recorded ones and not the live recordings. However, to see Jagjit perform live in front of you is also a wonderful experience....us ka mazaa kuchh aur hi hai!

By the way, I have heard a couple of his Bhajan cassettes too...truly amazing..!!
