1. I am the only person landing (principal applicant). IS it enough to carry 10000 CAD as proof of funds or do I need to cary more.

2. I dont remember the requirement when i applied in 2001 Dec, Do you know what it was.

3. Is the officer flexible if you carry 10000 C$ but found that it is lesser than the requirement 2 years ago?

in my case they didnot bother how much u have carried rather thay asked the amount available for the settlement here, in canada, u carry how much u can but be ready to get if it is needed to settle and also try to show the available amount from India. They do not retaine at the port of entry if u have papers clear.
