I am in work permit and have got my medical from new delhi. I am working in canada and on the medical they have requested to submit passport after medical is done . If i do that how will i get the passport back from indian embassy, also if i had to go to india how will i travel back to india.

- I don't understand why would you need the passport from Indian Embassy for PR stamping.

- You could've included immigration problem in the subject of your post.

- According to Ministry of External affairs (India), you're not allowed ship the passport abroad or send it else where from abroad. I had a need, I tried hard to get a letter from them, never had luck.

Hi,
Get the medicals done in canada and if they are ok then they should call you with your PP to Delhi ( I dont think Canadian Embassy in delhi will ask your PP with medicals ) .
( I dont think you should send your PP at this stage as per the process I know)
You should personally take your PP to get it stamped at Delhi CHC.
Do not forget to take all the documentation including Proper photos ( they made me go to CHC three times just for the photos ) and in india (CHD) I was not able to get the proper photos prepared though it was more than three years ago i did all this )

As per my knowledge you can not stamp PR visa in person except buffalo. That I have been hearing from different immigration forum.
If you have stamped visa from New Delhi in person, please tell exact process and share your experience. After medical do I have to sent email for visa stamp to New Delhi?

Well as I told earlier I got the PR Visa from CHC more than three years ago.
I was in Canada before that and went to CHC, Delhi after they informed at my address in india that PR is ready.
Just went in the Mbassy to get the VISA stamped.
Why do you need to send an email ( I think when they call you to get the VISA you just go there and get it stamped ).
Ofcourse assuming they have not changed the process in last three years.
which I dont think they have.

Now I day they request you to sent passport to them via post. And after approximately 1 month, they will send back stamped passport to you. So in this condition how can you go directly as they have already requested passport via courier. Three years ago which kind of request have you received? Have you informed them that you are not in india and completed medical out side India.

Do you know any applicant who has recently stamped visa in person form CIC Delhi.
