Just for the record.
I know a very sucessful Oracle professional from India who immigrated to Canada. That Individual got the first job in Oracle in a small company in Canada after 6 months of trying and for $13 an hour.
So even in IT it depends on the situation and luck to get the first job.
Let us not badmouth anyone.
Some get in in one week , while for others it takes more time. This is not to conclude that the person who got the job after a while is not talented nor deligent.
