Hi thanks for putting so much information about TN Visa. Just wanted to get some more information.Can a person who has Bachelors Degree in Computer Science and Engineering from India apply for TN Visa, if he is doing a labour job in Canada. One of my friends is in the same situation, now he has applied for citizenship and plan to move US. Will Officials at border ask for IT work experience in Canada or they will give visa looking at his Bachelors Degree in Computer Science.

-- Yes , as long as he is a citizen of Canada/Mexico

if he is doing a labour job in Canada.

-- TN is sponsored by US employer. So if he can get a job in US under the TN categories and the US employer is willing to sponsor the TN Visa and offer him job. Then it should be fine. However, getting a TN sponsor and a job does not guarantee the visa although people usually get it
