Dear Massod,

I have receive my file no.on July-04 .

i am worried about the processing time in CHC Delhi office. Can you tell me as to why this much time delay.

The CHC website mentions the total time like 58 months and above.

Also will the caips notes give me some input regarding my application status, and how to get them.

Your kind inputs will be highly appreicated

ur CAIPS notes will be empty at this stage, which means nothing have been entered as of now in ur CAIPS. so no need to apply as if now, apply in jan - march 2008. untill that time they will do ur initial assesment, and u will know how much pts they have given u.

yeah it is 58 months on their site now, but don't worry, 2002 cases are started and will be over by the end of 2006. and then new rule cases will come up, which will take less time. and the time will decrease consequently. but it will only benefit the new cases and for u it will still take minimum of 4 yrs I guess, rest I would advice u to wait and watch and afcourse please don't loose ur patience. lolz  smyle please :D

and if u still want to apply for caips, go on the site http://www.caipsnotes.com" rel="nofollow">LINK and check urself whats the procedure.

Thanks infocan for your input.
But please clarify me on this.... i have heard that as on dec 04 34000 Sw applicants were pending at delhi.
Now in 2005 25569 people moved from india to canada under sw
And i suppose till now in 2006 25000 moved (thats inclusive of dependents as well)
Going by calculations i think app. 20000 aplications are dealt with now out of pending 34000 applications and app. quota of SW appl. is app. 15000pa.
So i think Q should move really fast now.. and processing time should decrease in future.
PLEASE MASSOODJI,we would like to hear from you.PLEASE!
i applied in oct 04 and AOR 4 Nov 2004.
Thanks in advance
Vicky

its ok vicky, nothing like botheration for replying on canadian desi.
actually as per the announcement by canadian govt for reducing the processing time of parents/grand parents, the embassy is giving priority to such cases over skilled one. and they plan to finish the pending family cases soon as possible, so that as a result they will only take atmost of 6 month to process new parents/grand parents cases.
and this thing is affecting the no of skilled category cases to be processed, as the no of resouces remain the same in embassy but the work load is increasing thereafter.
I hope this would be enough for u, if u still have any question do post it, and I will try to reply soon as possible.
