I got an offer from cgi based out of montreal.I have 12 yrs of i.t experience and 7 years of business analyst experience .What would be an ideal base salary?

Also, I had mentioned my place of landing as Toronto.Can I land in Montreal?

A guess, since I'm not an analyst, but more on the tech side, is that you could think of 90K approx. However, it may drop lower, given that I've heard of CGI as not being as especially good pay master.

Since you don't have the CSQ for QC, I'm not sure if they will give you problems at the airport. When I applied for any public services in Montreal - heath insurance etc, the first question I was asked whether I had the selection certificate. Again, I'm not sure if it is mandatory.

My wife checked with immigration rep. and the rep advised us that we should not have any problem taking work assignments also to avail gov run programs we have to only fill a form.

Hopefully the rep is right. It will save time and money for me.
