Free refreshments with 1 hour seminar-April 6

Hello guys!
PEO of dufferin-peel region is arranging an 1 hr. Free seminar at a Golf club (Islington- Dundas St. west intersection) of Thursday April 6 th. The seminar is about Recontruction of Iraq from a Canadian Perspective and the seminar is about securing engineering contracts from Iraq. The speaker has a 20 year experience in it.
The schedule is :
Refreshments : 6.45 pm to 7:30 pm
Seminar : 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm.
Refreshments : 8.30 pm to 9:30 pm
Seminar is free but preregistration is required. It can be done by fax, e-mail or telephone. E-mail or PM me to get the details. When asking me details, remeber to give your e-mail address since i canot PM to more than 1 person a day. If you donot provide me your e-mail address, then i will send the details to the e-mail address that you registered in CD website.
I will be there.

Disclaimer and suggestions : Please be aware that i donot gain anything by telling this info. to you. In canadian terms, i donot know what free refreshments mean. It can mean a cold drink and busicuits or a sort of a full course dinner. Please donot blame me if they donot provide refreshments to your satisfaction. I , personally and going to the seminar only for refreshments and nothing else. If free alchohol is served there, then you will agree to take a cab ride at your own expense if you drink/ or drunk. I shall accept no responibility for your stupid/ foolish actions. Please donot bring children and if you have children, pls. arrange to keep them with a baby sitter or spouse before coming. In Canada, there is a min. age of children before you can leave them alone in the house. Please dress appropriately. My guess is that some high profile persons might be there. I will be wearing a tie. Please note that no expenses/ over time/ obligation of yours will be compensated.
Please note that Iraq is a dangerous place. Attempting to go to Iraq for business oppertunities can very very risky and i take no responsibility if you decide to go to Iraq after the seminar. Even the Canadian govt. canot give you security in that colotaile region.

Ever thought of changing your profession from architect/draftsman to para-legal or legal and write those fine prints for all the ads that fool the general Canadian public???? you might jump from 12.50 to 125 per hour. You may take copies of CD posts and the specific thread created for you as your portfolio!!!!

I hope you come out of this FREE syndrome..remember there are NEVER any truly free lunches. You dont know your loss maybe spend $5~$6 commuting for a $1.00 glass of milk/juice and 1 cookie
..not to mention your $12.5 / hr loss of income (assume atleast 2hr loss)...all this if you resist to fall prey to hosts temptations...I dont think it is worth it unless you are seriously interested in the topic.

thanks for the compliment.
I am no good a writer. My grammer is not that good and in no way i am creative. What started as a serious way of preventing legal action for my posts has turned to a comedy.
The profession that i like is stock trading. I want to concentrate on that.
One of the factors of me not leaving my present job is that i can use the internet 24/7.

This centre giving free refreshments is on the way from my office to home.
I may leave early from my office on Thursday (6:00pm) but i will compensate on fridy by working mega late.
Yes. There are FREE lunches in Canada. Once i got $20 for filling a 1 hr. survey at home. Second by the learn save telephonic interview for 20 mins . i earned $10. I see this more of a free networking oppertunity. I may be able to speak to some "Gora's". At present in my office, i donot get a chance to speak to any Gora's face to face and i want to improve my communication skills.

Sidenote : I also ended up paying by thinking it is free lunch.
for eg. I filled up a BOM credit card for a $1 gift. It turned out later that it was an annual fee card and i paid $15 on my first bill.
Second, during my wife delivery i parked the car outside the hospital and they put a $30 Parking ticket each day. I didn not remove the parking ticket thinking that when the parking inspector came the next time, he will think that he just ticketed my car and leave it free. I was wrong. 3 days he ticketed me and on the 4 th day he towed my car. The expenses was $400. I then found out that parking for a week in taht hospital's under ground parking was $40.
