Asked for Certificate verification:24 aug2005 .
Sent money Immd . No reply yet .
Applied thru London CHC .
Thru an agent here in oman.
Now what should i do other than waiting . should i ask my agent to get the Caips notes , or get intouch with CHC. whenever i call agent they say U´r verifcation has to be done thru Mumbai uni will take time . the CHC will get back when it is done. Do u think my agent is lazy ? or i am expecting too much . Can they not get intouch with CHC london, to Get any update on my case ?

Still waiting . henever i call agent they say U´r verifcation has to be done thru Hyderabad uni will take time . the CHC will get back when it is done. I dont know what to do with my case ?

However if you have an old classmate near university, maybe he can expedite confirmation.

IMHO being the year end some visa quota for this year is over (2005). I think both your cases can expect the next step early next year.

I think if you are doubtful about your agent, don’t ask your agent to get CAIPS, this I THINK you can do it yourself.

Hi Guys,
I would really love to know how much did you paid for certificate verification. I am in process to apply through Buffalo office and they usually consider original transcripts but unfortunately I was not able to collect the same for one of my degrees. So I will be applying through notarized copies so definitely I will have to arrange for cerificate verification.

I contact one of the guys at the University and he asked for 10000 INR for the transcript. If you guys have paid more than that for verification, I will pay this much to the agent and get rid of this verification stuff..

It will depend up on university, my university charges to verify any certificate ( from oversees) will cost - 50 US$. They will directly send the report to Canadian embassy. Hope you can check your university web site and find the appropariate charges they need to pay.

INR 10,000 is a lot of money for a transcript in my opinion.

To get a transcript (genuine) I dont think so much is needed.

If non-genuine then I think 10k is alright (no offence ment).
