Asas, it is difficult to move to Canada with a job in hand. Even when one is in Canada, it is difficult to get a job or most of the times even an interview. I had applied on various websites before coming to Canada but did not get a single call. Moving to India with a job might be easier since one has the contacts there. Ofcourse, there will be a waiting period there too if I want to do a job.
I am not planning to do a job once I go back to India. I will start a small business selling computers & software. Other option I am considering is the insurance sector. Fortunately, I have my own house there with car, etc. since my parents are there. So initial settling down again will be easy. My wife might take up a job there initially till the time I settle down in business.
There will ofcourse be the social ridicule & people trying to convince me that I should have stayed back.
Regarding coming back without citizenship, it will be another 3 years before I can get citizenship especially since you can apply after 3 years of stay & then it takes some time for the test & oath to be done. I don't see myself being happy here. Earlier I go back, better it will be for me & my family to settle down again.

Raj is planning to start a computer sales business when he returns to India.. He can start the similar business here.. or atleast explore the opportunity.

Computer hardware business is booming in India at the moment.The business has its pitfalls in the sense that service and warranty could be a problem area and a lot of computer hardware entrepreneurs get it wrong. My suggestion is to go for a assembly type of venture creating your brand name. A good option could be an entry level personal computer at sub Rs 10,000 prices.
There is a brand called amchipc which has followed the above strategy and in two years is a 100 crore plus company.
