As an Ex-Dubaitee I can tell u one thing that your thinking is right and your plan is good. But the real problem is you never know how things will change and no one can give you any kind of guarantee in this as it involves the government rules and regulations. If you are doing well there then it's worth the risk. In worst scenerio you will loose few thousand dirhams by way of lapsed PR and applying all over again.

Yes,I did raise query related to this isuue but that was on altogether
different aspect.
I agrre with you and I would have no hesitation in sending my daughters
to CANADA without us following them but my daughters are in 4th and 8th std. respectively.This I think is major hurdle as sending them after 10th or 12th is acceptable as they can survive the new envirnoment.If we wait till they reach 12th ro so our pr`s will expire.
Basically I was keen to know whether I can continue to support my
family without coming in the tax dragnet of CANADA after expiry of my PR.
